All of our puppies come with a two-year health guarantee, have been vet-checked, have received their first shots and have been wormed on a regular basis.

The care we take in breeding to create the best puppies is matched by the thorough socialization we give them after they are born. Blue Ridge Goldendoodles is centrally located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and all of our puppies are raised in our home with our three young children and various animal companions. After 15 years of producing exceptional puppies, our reputation speaks clearly about our breeding methods, the level of care we provide and, most importantly, the great love we have for these wonderfully sensitive and intelligent dogs.

About Goldendoodle Puppies

Creme Goldendoodle puppy

The Goldendoodle is a result of breeding a Golden Retriever and a Poodle together. The breed is highly popular not only because they have an excellent temperament, but because they typically shed very little, if at all, making them good for people who have allergies. They are not hypoallergenic dogs however, as many breeders will erroneously state. Because of their intelligence, they make excellent service dogs for people with disabilities.

Blue Ridge Goldendoodles points out that the breed is considered a hybrid, and as such, most major kennel clubs including AKC do not register them. That does not take away from their popularity, however, and the dogs are in high demand.

One of the reasons Goldendoodles are so beloved is because when the puppies are born, they look like little balls of fur. Everyone who sees a newborn Goldendoodle wants one. As the pups get older, the coat takes on a wavy look that is not quite as curly as a Poodle. Since both dog breeds are susceptible to hip dysplasia, this is one thing that you might look out for when you are searching for a Goldendoodle puppy. Most breeders try to breed their dogs to eliminate this problem, but it still surfaces occasionally.

Goldendoodle Puppy - Winston!Goldendoodle puppies are loyal and sweet-natured and are at their happiest when they are pleasing their masters. To this end, they make absolutely wonderful family pets. They also come in a variety of sizes, depending on the breeder, so you can find one for just about every living situation imaginable. Additionally, because of their ease of training, they are just as suitable for apartment living as they are for a house with a yard. They are also great with children and make great watch dogs. Pet owners look for dogs for a variety of reasons including companionship, to assist them with their activities of daily living, or even to teach your children the responsibility of caring for others. Whatever the reason, it’s hard to go wrong with a Goldendoodle.

Before you actually set out to buy a dog, the first thing that you need to do is to check the reputation of the breeder from which you are considering buying the dog. The reputation of Blue Ridge Goldendoodles is impeccable. Most breeders are consistent with the health of their dogs, but you have a few out there who breed dogs purely for the sake of making a buck, and they take little consideration of the health of the resulting puppies. While most issues are not readily noticeable on the outset, when the dogs start to get older serious health issues become an expensive problem for dog owners. If you add a Blue Ridge Goldendoodle puppy to your family, you’re guaranteed to get a happy and healthy dog.
